Brent,

I did not put the Rock Box firmware on my iRiver T30 flash player. 
The firmware is directly from iRiver and is for providing USB mass 
storage capability rather than having to use the Microsoft Media 
Player transfer protocol. And, yes, you can reinstall the original 
iRiver firmware and get the DRM file capability back.
