There are several ways to search for binary files on UseNet. NewsRover is a fine program, which can do that. However one has to use certain providers for it to work. Giganews is one example. They're great, but if you use a provider, which isn't supported, you can't use NewsRover's search feature. You could then use a web based engine. I like www.ngindex.com. If you find something there, you cannot download it from the site, but you can download an NZB file, which describes all the parts of the file. One can then download the file via the NZB from any provider with an NZB capable Usenet program.
