Yup, the only time I would do 128k stereo is if you know you have a lot of bandwidth to play with. Also, I would make it an mp3 stream, as opposed to a stream that can only be played with realplayer. Winamp and other compadible mp3 players are better able to handle streams when they buffer. You can't get rid of buffering completely, but you can keep it to a minimum.
