I'm trying to record from a line-in jack on a computer. I've got the patch cord plugged into the right jack. Adjusting the playback volume works as one would expect. But no matter where I adjust the line-in volume in record properties, it's too loud and distorts. I even set it to 1%, with the save overdriven result. What would I be doing wrong here?
