Ok everyone. I read the usage documentation for Pacemaker 2.1 and found out there are keyboard shortcuts to turn processing on and off as well as turning memorization on and off so I don't need to tab to those controls after all. I don't need to go back to an earlier version. I might even register this one so I can get the universal hotkeys.
