hi all, hope someone can help with this one as it's bugging me! smile. i
used to use recall pro as my audio recorder. 2 problems here, 1. for some
reason it always cut off the end of my recordings, this could range from a
couple of seconds to almost half a minute, depending on the length of the
recording. 2. recording in mp3 format, 56kbps, 22050hz seemed to be the best
quality it would record at. so i dumped it in favour of total recorder.
however, total recorder seems to have one failing compared to recall pro. if
my computer crashed during a recording (which occasionally happens), when i
restarted, i found recall pro had saved the audio i was recording upto the
point the system went down. unfortunately, total recorder doesn't seem to do
this. if the pc crashes, bye bye to anything currently recording.

this happened today when iwas out. 5 hours of recording down the drain! if
i'd been using recall pro, i would have saved those 5 hours when i had to
restart the pc. but it'd have only been at 56k/22050hz quality, and i'd have
lost some of the recording at the end.

does anyone know if it's possible to get total recorder to save intemitantly
whilst it's recording?
if not, then how to stop recall pro chopping the end of my files off and to
record in a higher quality?
if not any of the above, anyone suggest a program that will save my
recordings occasionally while recording?
i'm using total recorder professional 6, recall pro 1.4 beta 14. i've got
goldwave 5.13 and soundforge 8D already.

any help would be really appreciated on this one!
