I'm not really following this thread very well, but I happened up this 
topic.  I use a cheap little speaker ($10 or $15 or so) from Radioshack for 
one sound card that I play JAWS through, and I have a speakaer set I play 
all the other sounds trhough, which comes from my Creative something or 
other sound card that I can't think of right now.  Cheers!
