if you are under windows 98 you will need to check dma support for each drive on the ide channels. Go to device manager and right click on each drive and go to properties. and make sure dma support is checked. if you are in xp you will need to select the primary or secondary ide controler and right click on it and select properties and go to the advance tab. tab through the selections and set all of the channels to dma if available. that should fix the problem.----- Original Message ----- From: "Dana S.
