Hello, if this is the same USB turntable which plays 78s, then be aware that it will not come with a separate needle to play them. Since the grooves are a different width, you need a different stylus to play 78s than you do for 33s or 45s. Just so you know. If the software for cleaning up the sound isn't accessible, then you could use DePopper, of which I did a review on Main Menu about five years ago. Thanks a lot. Matthew
