There's been a lot of methods already mentioned here for accurately checking track duration of MP3 files. However, if you're looking for a simple way of estimating track duration and you know the bit rates of the files in question, a rough guide is that an MP3 file encoded at 128kbps will yield 1 meg for each minute of music. So if you have 200 meg of MP3 files all encoded around 128kbps then you've got 200 minutes of music. Of course, if your MP3 files are closer to 320kbps you can very roughly say that a 5 minute track will take up approximately 10 meg of disc space.
