Just installed it. Sounds wonderful! If anyone is considering purchasing it, 
and has any questions, feel free to write me off-list.

Briefly, though, installation was relatively easy. What problems there were 
had to do with USB issues (conflicts, etc.), and not with access issues.

I don't intend to use any of the user interface software bundled with the 
card, and didn't install any of it, so can't comment on it. But, from what 
I've read, it's probably as graphical and inaccessible as most of Creative's 
software. Besides, Goldwave, Sound Forge, easy CD-DA Extractor, etc. do 
everything the Creative software does, probably better, and certainly more 
accessibly. But, as a stand-alone sound card, at under $50, I can highly 
recommend the SoundBlaster Live! 24-bit External USB.
