Hi all,
I have two questions about ripping music.
1. this is a follow up to one I asked a couple weeks ago. I explained that
although I was getting titles to cds, this did not include the track names
of the songs and they were well known songs. And I might add, that the
titles that are being assigned to some of the songs don't even match.
Someone explained that it depended on how things were put into the database
- and this is a simplification.
My question is does it matter what program you use to rip the cd, i.e.
windows media player or winamp or cd ext, etc. does it matter if you're
ripping to mp3 or wma?
2. I have been using windows media player to rip cds. It's version 10.
things have been going well. However, I have one disk that after I tell
media player to rip it, the cd is ejected. The cd is fine. It plays the
songs if I close the door again. So I don't know why media player is
rejecting the disk when I simply want to rip.
Any ideas. Thanks.
