Hello Brent, On Tuesday, June 13, 2006, 9:36:09 PM, you bellowed the following: > I was thinking of it for recording Skype since I don't want to send > the callers sound back to himself and make conferences sound like trash.
Well, Skype conferences sound like trash by default, so that's out already. What you could do if you really want though, if you only have one sound card, might be to redirect skype to one of the virtual cables for the it's output, then run a copy of vac to rout the cable back to your sound card, then running another copy of vac to get the sound from your sound card into a second virtual cable pair that you can record with. A lot easier to do with outboard gear, and something liek Skype surely isn't going to depreciate in sound quality given how bad it already is. Surely this would be a bit more feasible than using it as a default sound device? -- Good Wednesday, -- Patrick Perdue (MCP, CNA) KE4DYI Greensboro, NC website: http://www.pdaudio.net home: +1(828)221-2971 Mobile phone and SMS: +1(336)509-5583 e-mail and .net messenger: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> skype: Borris -------------------- For anything related to the yamaha motif line of keyboards and modules, subscribe to the motif-help mailing list by sending a blank message to: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com.
