I've only tried ripping with nero a couple of times and that was a long time ago. Seemed more hard work than CDEX or media player so I didn't use it again. Typically, there are a few common parameters that determine how fast your program will rip music from a CD.
* the speed of your CD-ROM * the quality of the output files, the higher the quality the longer the rip. Added to this, if you have jitter correction or image creation as an option, this will extend the rip time * the priority of the rip - generally you have a choice of very fast ripping that stops you doing anything else with your computer or very slow which allows you to carry on using your computer while the rip is in progress with no impact. There is, of course, a happy medium to be had. Regards. Kevin E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary Petraccaro" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list.
