hi david, portable DVD players, some of them anyway, do also play mp3 files. If they don't, i'm not sure how to do it. Unless you can find a program to convert to CDA on your pc, then burn the CDA files as a data disc using such as record now or nero's dvd burning thing. but i think all dvd players support mp3 files, you can check the specks for yours and check. i'm fairly sure it's standard, though.
