Dana,

Ok, I meant to say I thought WCBSFM had gone all sports and dropped their
oldies format. I didn't mean to imply the AM had dropped news.

I didn't know that the A.M. side was online, and so went there and enjoyed
hearing that station, which I used to listen to when I lived in Manhattan.

What a surprise when I checked the fm link and found the HD2 station link.
I used to listen to CBSFM and enjoyed hearing the original jingles they
still have. I called a friend who now lives in the next town from me and
told him about it.

I hope you figure what's causing your difficulty with the Cape talk station.
Thanks for sharing your link.

Pam

Pam,

Several others, from the blindtech list, have also reported no problem with
the link on my Media page. Apparently, it's something peculiar in my system
that is preventing me from using that link, and only that link. I certainly
don't understand it.

BTW, I don't know what gave you the idea that WCBS-AM had gone all sports.
It's been all-news for over 30/35 years now.

Thanks.

Dana

Hello,

I hope this is not a repeat of some one else's findings. I didn't find any
further messages in the Outlook conversation but by this time you may have
already found the answer to your question.

I located the link and the stream plays just fine.

I saw the homepage and figured I'd better keep looking since you had had
problems. I did not look for a real player stream so am wondering if you
only have the Media Player url now. In any case, the station is very busily
and smoothly playing.

Btw, I'm going to save this message with the url. There are a lot of
intresting sites.

I am wondering whether the WCBSstreams are still active. Last I heard CBS
had gone sports and I thought they had changed format.

Hope this helps you with your troubleshooting.

Pam
