Hi, gang! Is there a basic glossary out there somewhere that describes the meanings of things like codex, bi bit rates, hz's, and all these things, or do we just learn them from osmosis! Smile! I have vague understandings of them, but I'd like to find a way to know exactly what I'm reading when I'm looking at specs for software or equipment. I think folks, or maybe it's just me, would like to really get these concepts but may be too embarrassed to ask the most basic questions about all these mysterious things. Any ideas?
