hi
basically because aac+ is smaller file size than mp3. i think also that it
has smaller file sizes than ogg, or better quality at lower bitrates. I
can't really test that though because the settings on the faac encoder are
screwy. I want to test to see which sounds better at smaller bitrates to my
ears. I only have a 256 mb cf card. I don't want to go out and get another
one because the rental pm goes back during the summer so it's a waste of my
money, but i'm all about having the least amount of drive space taken up, so
i'd probably keep the aac+ files for use in winamp.
