Hi Everyone: I am also a proud owner of the Edirol R1. I got it from SameDayMusic which kindly included a FREE 256MB CompactFlash card as a bonus offer with my purchase. Now, does anyone have an accessible copy of this thingy's manual? I don't have access to a reader and can't learn to use this equipment as quickly as I need to. Getting ready for an overseas trip and I want to take it on the road!
Second question: Can I attach a small portable speaker to the Edirol R1 so I can hear playback without using a headset or is that absolutely impossible? I have only 2-3 days left to learn how to use it, <smile>!! Joe, some popular CompactFlash cards are Lexar, Sandisk, and PNY. I have used them all and they are quite nice indeed.
