The reason people are a little skeptical is that a while back someone claimed to have come up with a revolutionary new sound editor specifically designed for blind people, and it turned out to be a compiled batch file which erased files and so forth on their systems. I think people are just a little cautious after having been burned once. The below is very reassuring.
