Hello to the pc audio list.
This is in regards to the popular multitrack software Protools.

I have heard pros and cons on usage of this piece of software.
Some people can access it with screen readers to some extent and others can not.
My basic question is, is the latest version of the protools software usable at
all and in any way with Window Eyes and or Jaws?
I would be curious to know if anyone is using this latest version with any
degree of success.
A lot of these programs have nonstandered controls or grafic buttons that can
be read by a screen reader as custome control or the screen reader will say
grafic when the mouse passes over the control.
There for you could memorize the order of the buttons and what they aare for to
use the program.
I have done this in other editing programs where the controls are not labeled
properly.
Is purhaps protools set up this way?
Even if I could have access to a program where I had to learn how to manipulate
controls in this way would be better than nuthing.
 Tracy Son.
