I would imagine the $10,000 you end up spending on such an expensive system is for a whole setup of computers, software, likely sound cards and satellite control equipment. I suppose for a commercial station the price isn't the worst if it includes all it takes to put automation on but could be steep if that is only the program without all the hardware that goes with it.
