The mixer I have is a Behri nger mx2200. All the adjustments have click stop knobs and it's wonderful. Don't know if it's still being made though. I've had good luck and heard many good things about Behringer processors so I don't think you'd go wrong. Don't know about the Behringer DJ mixers. I'm old enough to still enjoy doing live music mixes with a mixer and not used to mixing mp3's with play because I feel like I should be cueing something or pushing a button, doing my own fades. Like mixing commercials. When fading down music under a voice, I just haven't heard anything that beats a mechanical fade with a pot. You can make it work of course, I've done it a thousand times, but just doesn't sound the same.
But I am very old old school.
