AM stereo is dead. stations can still use the sequam format if they choose, but stations are gearing up for digital Am broadcast during the day time hours and not putting any money into sequam since manufacturers don't make the radios capable of receiving it any more.Crysler used to put AM stereo radios in there cars in the 80's.
