Charles, I had saved this message from a while back. It helped me to figure it out. another way is to call CCrane and they can walk you through it. You will need the tiniest screw driver to do it. I actually took mine to the closest radio shack to have them help me. They took off the bottom and did it that way. It didn't take such a small screw driver that way. Smile I hope this helps. Shannon

It's hard to feel this but a rectangle near the top of the back is actually a piece of plastic that can be peeled off. Below that you will find the small holes for putting a jeweler's screwdriver, such as one uses to tighten screws in eyeglasses. You need to carefully insert the screwdriver in to the left most opening and gently turn the adjustment all the way clockwise.
