Hi Michael Just one more thought. I notice you're using Cool Edit - the instructions I gave you in the last email were for Audition 1.5 (the latest upgrade of Cool Edit.) Although the speech works similarly in both, there may be some features in Audition you cannot get with Cool Edit. Things should be fairly similar and I think that for what you want to do they are the same. But be aware that some things might be just a little different. If you've followed the instructions which come in the txt files in the scripts, you should notice that you have to train the Screen Reader when in Multitrack view for the first time - I think the keypress is control and T, but I may be wrong. >From what I remember when I used Cool Edit nothing really got spoken until this was done. When you do as I've suggested in my other email you should hear things fairly clearly and find that things are fairly intuitiev when you are tabbing and arrowing.
