Kevin, et al.: Understand that Rockbox will probably never have the capability of reading the folder and filenames as text vs. spelling them out because the hardware itself doesn't have enough memory to hold the programming required for a full-fledged speech output DSP, phoneme lookups and all. There are ways to accomplish what you want, but it requires the expenditure of a little, very little, disk space to create the short files with the folder names in them. Otherwise, you're stuck with the spelling mode.
