I don't think it will do that. From what I read on the Rockbox site (some 8 or 9 months ago), it will read the menus and if I am not mistaken, they are all recorded audio files and No TTS will be loaded on to the device. Also there was a way of making a text file or playlist of the songs on the device and generating the audio files for these titles which could then be announced on the device. I may be completely wrong though.
