Hi Terri, 1. In WinAmp, go to the preferences, and file types, and select the file types you want WinAmp to play. 2. After maiking your selections in the preferences of WinAmp, close it. 3. Browse to the folder that contains your music, and highlight one of the files, and then press shift F10, this will open a context menu. 4. Choose the, open with, from the menu choices, and press enter. 5. When this dialogue opens using the arrow keys, select WinAmp from the list, and then tab to the checkbox that says, always use this program to open this type of file, and press spacebar to check the box. 6. Now tab to the okay button, and press enter to close the dialogue. >From now on, WinAmp should be your default player for the file types you selected in the preferences.
