Hi James!

Is there any cod drivers included with your new player? May be, there is a
CD which you can use to detect your new player.

Subject: New MP3 Player Not Seen in Drive Line-upre

> Hello List!
>
> I just purchased a new MP3 Player today at Best Buy. It came with a disc
withe the installation file. Windows says it recognizes new hardware, but
when I go to the My Computer and open up it and view the list of drives, the
MP3 drive cannot be seen. On the otherhand, I plug in a thumb drive and it
immediately sees it. The system does see it and asks me if I want to
scranize with Windows Media Player. I am suppose to be able to download MP3
or WMA files to this ystem.

> My thought is that I have a USB compatability problem (maybe my system
which is old and has the old USB style is too old and the MP3 player is a
USB 2). Could this be the case. I heard that Apple IPODS and similar
devices are all USB2. Is this the case or is it time for me to upgrade my
system?
