I hope this is the proper forum for this problem. I am running a Turtlebeach sound card on a Win98 second edition machine. For some reason I am not able to retain my volume control settings after rebooting. I have them all set to maximum, but they all go back to I guess some preset settings, which are much lower than I like them. Any suggestions for correcting this would be greatly appreciated. This all began happening after getting the machine back from a chip fan replacement.
