OK, here's some more things you might like to know about Octiv. First, their web site's main page is not very descriptive--a buncha links with no meta tags, so you have to try each one to figure out what it is. Once you go to a link from the main page, the linked-to page is just fine in the accessibility department.
I also discovered they have a companion product which incorporates the same technology and core as the Volume Logic plug-in, made exclusively for Internet broadcasting, called StreamSolo. StreamSolo is like a combination of the Volume Logic plug-in plus the SAM Encoders plug-in, it looks like to me. However, they want a whopping hundred bucks for it, and if their accessibility for this one is anything like the Volume Logic stand-alone listener plug-in, they can bloody well keep it. The only problem is, it sound so good! Take the Volume Logic 30-day trial for a spin. Maybe you'll have better luck in the accessibility department than I have, or better luck in the contacting-the-company department than I have, but you just gotta love the sound! _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This list is a service of MosenExplosion.com.
