Hi. I can recommend Ots dj for use as a dj. This software is little complicated but when you have played with it you love it, at least i do. It's not very accessible out of the box but with Snowmans script for it it rocks. One downside is the price, it's expencive ... I have used it now for 4 years and I like the sound and response from the software. It plays mp3s but you get more power of it with their own ots format. I have used it on live gigs and on internet broadcasts and I'm very happy with it. It's a good choice if you want to mix songs together and do good transitions between songs. You can read about it at www.otsdj.com Stationplaylist is also very good but it is designed more for radiobroadcasts and you can't mix songs together in this program. I also find Stationplaylist little sluggish in response to commands.
