Well, I re-upgraded to 5.1, and that seems to have solved the problem. I
supposed the widely-discussed problems with the library function in 5.1 will
reappear. but, as I hardly ever use the library, and now know how to manage
my bookmarks by directly editing winammp.bm, I can do quite nicely without
it. The only reason I down-graded to 5.092 was that the problems with the
library seemed to be getting progressively worse, and there didn't seem to
be any advantage, for me, in using 5.1 rather than 5.092. But, now, I have
found such an advantage, and a very great one, given all the podcasts I've
started listening to, since my first upgrade to 5.1.

Thanks, again to you and Bruce.

Blessed Be,

Subject: Re: Fast Forward & Rewind in Winamp

I have found that I had to go back to an earlier version.

Strangely this doesn't seem to happen with every little upgrade. so I am
sticking with the one I have, which is fat forwarding and back OK now. Just
go back to a known version and you should be OK.
