Hi Don, I never had any success with version 1.5 on Win98SE. I am however, running it on WinXP home, with no problems. Whether the upgrade is necessary or better, probably depends on what you want to use the program for. I use it only for ripping, on both machines, so the added features didn't impress me. I am still using version 1.2 beta 8 on Win98SE, and it does what I want to do. I have found that programs that do alot don't seem to do them as well as dedicated programs. Hello, I have been using Cdex version 1.50 for a long time without difficulty, both on my XP home system and on my 98 S E system. This morning, I installed version 1.51 on my 98 S E system and could not get the program to load. I tried this first with Window Eyes 5.5 and then with JFW 6.2, with the same result or should I say lack of result each time. I have not yet attempted to install and run 1.51 on my XP home system. Has anyone else on this list encountered this problem? If so, is there a fix for it? Also, are there significant advantages of using 1.51 over 1.50? Lastly, if you did encounter the above problem, what operating system are you running? Thanks for ideas.
