Good List, I posted a question last night but I didn't see it on the list so assume it is heading out past jupiter by now. Here it is again. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with any high end digital recorders. I have a Marantz PMD690 which has been discontinued. It only lasts about 1-1/2 hours on batteries and is difficult to use if you can't read the display. I'm looking for a broadcast quality stereo portable recorder that ideally would not require bulky XLR jacks. Marrantz now has the PMD660 and PMD670 that are stereo and small but I don't want to spend big bucks again with out knowing more about their accessibility. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
