Russell, That is incorrect. The latest version of Winamp has a section within the Library that allows you to access various AOL with Xm streams. I was vary excited, a month or so ago, to discover WQXR, from NYC, is available this way, and I listen to it frequently.
I doubt the Winamp library includes the full range of X M stations. but, if there's a particular stream that isn't there, and you know the URL, I'd think it's worth trying to access it through Winamp, anyway, by entering its URL into Winamp's location bar, then bookmarking it.
