Randy, Bring up the preferences menu in Winamp. scroll down to DSP/Effects. Tab to the list box that lists the various plugins, and select pacemaker by pressing the letter p. Tab once, and you will be in a dialogue where you can adjust sliders to set tempo, pitch, and speed. I found that JAWS cannot properly access these sliders in version 2.1. That's why I downgraded to version 1.3.
After setting the sliders, the only way I found to get out of this dialogue is to again press ctrlP. Then tab to the button to close the preferences, and you should be all set to play your file/stream. Unfortunately, you have to go through the whole procedure again when you want to set things back the way they were before. I'm not sure if you can define hotkeys that will allow you to trigger some preset values, from within the player itself, without going into preferences. If not, that's an enhancement we should request. Blessed Be, Dana that's Dayna, D A N A, NOT Donna, D O N N A D. S. Leslie, née C. R.
