I like VLC Media Player from http://www.videolan.org. It's free and uses existing codecs from your system to play DVD's.
One neat feature is found under the audio menu. It is a channel option. For example, if I put in the DVD "Ray", I have four channels. Channel 1 is the movie with no DVS. Channel 2 is the movie in French. Channel 3 is the commentary from actors and directors. Channel 4 is the movie with DVS. VLC Media player will play most anything you throw at it with no problems. The only drawback is you can't switch cards with the player. It uses the default card you have for sounds. ---------------- Cutting Edge Solutions is here to assist with assistive technology needs. Subject: accessible DVD software, Good Morning folks, I'd like to know, which dvd playing software folks are having most success with, accessing it with screen readers? doesn't matter which screen reader, question is access to the dvd software. You can write me off list if you'd rather not clutter it up here. best, Joe [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
