Hi Jay, Check the following: 1. Is the Microphone plugged into the mic jack, and not another jack by mistake. 2. If the microphone has a on/off switch is it on. 3. Is the microphone boost turned on in the volume control. Is the recording software being used, set to the soundcard the microphone is plugged into. Well, I set the mic volume at 100% and not muted, but even plugging a signal from a line-out voltage wasn't audible, not even an electric "ouch."
