I've never had a failure. The only time a CD has not worked is if I didn't
copy anything onto it before burning  or I screwed up on the format.
Otherwise I always burn a good CD, and I only use cheap CDRW discs.

CD rewriteable disks don't always play on some CD players, especially ones
that only play audio CD's!
