Hi Ken, I wish I could say with certainty. I really haven't gotten to play with it much. it is a Sony net md mini disk player. I managed to get part of a book on it but it was incomplete so I was trying to get it off and try again but was having no luck. I don't know if it is because I am technologically challenged or if it was that the sonic stage 2.2 was just so unfriendly. I know that it is a menu driven unit, but I haven't gotten far enough to know if it will be easy to remember the order of operations. With lots of hope I am looking forward to giving the newer version a try. Maybe I'll actually get to play with my toy. Smile If I get it to work I will be sure to post it here.
