There is a pieve of freeware called Ignition. This is the publisher's
description:
Ignition 2.9.1.51
Publisher's Description:
Ignition is a CD burning tool to save your life if you're tired of burning
Gigabytes
of archives and finally get 10Mb to burn on the last CD of your set. It is a
space
optimizer that will dispatch the files on the minimal number of CDs.
If you go to www.betanews.com and put the word "ignition" in the search
field you will come up with the file. It is approx 1 meg in size.
If you are using Nero you should be able to add folders to a new data cdrom
compilation and constantly check how much you have in the compilation and
how much space you still have to fill.
Cheers
Andrea

Subject: Re: How many megs?
Hi, Steve! Thanks for that. I know how to find out how many megs is in
each folder; I was hoping there might be a way to find out how many megs
would be in several folders added together so I wouldn't have to do the
math before attempting to burn them on a CD. Maybe there's no way to do
that?
