The FM transmitter sends a signal from your computer to your stereo receiver
and not to your computer.. It can also broadcast from any portable audio
device that has a headphone jack. But again, the signal is going to your FM
receiver, not to your computer. These transmitters are small affairs,
smaller than a pack of cigarettes. You can find them at Veronica, C Crane,
Ramsey Electronics, and Blackbox Mobile. Some allow you to transmit on any
FM channel you wish while others have preset channels. It takes no
sophistication at all to use these things. If you need more specifis,
contact me off-list.

Subject: USB fm transmitter info needed

hello,

a quesion to those who own a usb fm transmitter.

how do you set the frequency on this kind of device? is this on the
device itself or via a software?

also, how is it recognized by Windows, is it an aditionnal audio
output peripheral or do one need to connect the audio source via a
jack?
