I believe Total Recorder can split the file, but I don't know if it has
the ability to correct the split so it happens at a CD-conducive spot. By
which I mean that if you don't split the file at exactly the right spot
(not a time difference you'd notice), you wind up with a popping sound on
the CD. I hear this a lot on Blackstone Audio Books, for example. Gold
Wave knows this and, when you split a file according to cue points, it
will auto-correct the split for you so there is no popping sound. I do not
know if Total Recorder does this.

One of the best solutions is Gold Wave. You can break the file into wave
files with it, and it will adjust the breaks so that you don't get popping
and the like. Then a program like CDRWIN or Nero can put the whole thing
together for you with no gaps or pops.
