I believe Total Recorder can split the file, but I don't know if it has the ability to correct the split so it happens at a CD-conducive spot. By which I mean that if you don't split the file at exactly the right spot (not a time difference you'd notice), you wind up with a popping sound on the CD. I hear this a lot on Blackstone Audio Books, for example. Gold Wave knows this and, when you split a file according to cue points, it will auto-correct the split for you so there is no popping sound. I do not know if Total Recorder does this.
