Casey, Thank you for telling me how to find out what the drive is. It is; SONY CD RW CRX 220E1
I have tried two different disks made from Office Depot and two made by Memorex. This stupid software does worn that if there any third party recording applications on the system that it may not work properly. It only wants certain drivers in the win 32 file. I looked and there no other "aspi" files in this folder. So I am stumped. I did have sonic stage for my mini disk installed and I have already deleted the programs that came with that. Should I just dump this program and get a new one? Is this drive too old to work with the newer programs? Thanks again for the reply.
