noisereductionplugin
Hi, well looking at that page it did not look like a very accessible
program for window eyes users. All I really need is a tool to restore
recordings frokm tapes or records and get rid of all of that hiss in them.
I don't need a tool to burn to cds as I allready use primear cd creator
from www.readingmadeeasy.com for my cd productions but just need a program
to remove left over noise and does a good job of it and not take out
artafacts of the audio. I would also like to know if there is a way to
normalize every sample in a file to a sertain level because I do a lot of
recordings on the phone and internet and sometimes the level of one
speaker is lower than the other and I want to be able to bring them to the
same with little manual selection and lots of work. bye

Hi Nick
I use Diamond Cut 6 (DC6) from tracertek. It works pretty well with Jaws
although it had a bit to go to become fully accessible. There are
hundreds of presets and the interface is pretty accessible through menus
and dialog boxes which can be tabbed around. There may be a demo.
The site is:
www.tracertek.com
If you have a lively interest in audio matters their site is excellent
for excellent products.
Regards.

plugin
Hi, I am trying to remove the Hiss noise from cassette tapes using sound
forge 8 and the latest registered version of the noise reduction plug
in, I tried the presets that use a noise print but a lot of the noise
still exists and I have run it a lot of times I am using window eyes 5.0
professional on windows xp professional with service pack2. Are there
any standalone programs that work well with screen readers for good
restoration of audio because the noise reduction program is not very
accessible with window eyes.
