I'm using the latest version of skype with Window-eyes version 4.5, a soundblaster live sound card, and Windows 98. When I try to make a call, I can't hear any of the ringing sounds or the audio of the person I'm calling, although they can hear me fine. My sound card and microphone work in all other applications, including goldwave, for the people, and audio-tips with no problem. When I go in to the skype options and look under the sound devices tab, for the input and output options all I see in the combo boxes is the setting for windows default. My sound card does not show up. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I can fix this problem, or do I have to wait until I upgrade to another operating systm like xp or 2000?
