Hi Sun,
The midi port is a raised multi-pin port,
kind of reminds me of a parallel, or serial port,
only a miniature version.
I don't know the jack arrangement of the audigy soundcard, haven't been able
to purchase one yet.
Hope to soon, for one of my machines.
HTH,
R Q J

Hi Paul,
If the soundblaster card has standard jacks,
Looking at the computer from the back, the arrangement should be as
follows.

from left to right.
1. midi port.
2. rear speakers.
3. front speakers.
4. microphone.
5. line-in.
6. line-out.
HTH,
R Q J

Hi all.

I just got an SB Live sound card and I am trying to locate the mike jack.
I
am guessing it is either in front of the speaker jack or just behind it,
on
my computer, or just to the left or right of it on someone elses machine. If someone could tell me which one it is I would be REAL appreciative. I want to find a voice chat room but got to get a mike working first, guess
that might help, ha ha.
T I A,
Paul
