Try audio converter 5.1 You can use it as freeware but it is limited inits scope. If you get the licensed copy you will be able to convert most anything you want.

I have been playing around with the creative audio converter from creative labs. After much scripting I have kind of got it to work. Any one know of a good accessible converter? Thanks for any help.
